Challenge
NAV-Engineering is an international electronics distributor based in Bulgaria, supplying electrical, electro-mechanical, active, and passive components to industries including medical equipment, aerospace, automotive, and robotics. The company's catalog comprises over 365,000 parts from dozens of manufacturers. Despite this extensive inventory, virtually none of it was discoverable through search engines. The existing website provided only a basic search interface over a slow database — there were no individual pages for parts, no part-specific metadata, and no structured product data. When a procurement engineer in any market searched for a specific component number, NAV-Engineering did not appear in the results, regardless of stock availability.
Competitors with properly indexed part pages were capturing this demand entirely. The legacy platform was architecturally incapable of scaling to the required volume. Generating hundreds of thousands of pages with unique metadata, structured data, and acceptable load times exceeded the system's technical limitations. The result was a significant inventory asset that generated no organic search traffic and no inbound quote requests from online channels.
Solution
DSX developed a purpose-built catalog platform engineered to make every component in the inventory individually discoverable through search engines. Each of the 365,916 parts now has a dedicated page with a unique URL, part-specific title and meta description including the part number and manufacturer, and structured product data conforming to search engine specifications. The catalog is organized by manufacturer with integrated search and pagination, producing over 36,000 pages of browsable results — all server-rendered to ensure complete indexability without client-side execution requirements. Individual part pages display the component number, manufacturer identification with branding, technical description, current availability status, a quote request action, and the last-updated date.
The homepage presents the company's capabilities across its core sectors — medical, aerospace, automotive, and robotics — with professional presentation and clear conversion paths. A manufacturer directory enables visitors to browse the catalog by brand. Performance optimization ensures fast load times across all pages through server-side rendering, image optimization, and efficient resource delivery. The outcome is a platform where any engineer searching for any component in the catalog finds NAV-Engineering in search results, sees availability immediately, and can submit a quote request in a single step.
